Play it until your cd player dies. This is one of those albums which have enough variety to be interesting all the way through and yet still keep a very clear style which can only be the Cure. It's too bad that they will be using this music for car commercials before long.Awesome!!!Ok where do i start.......... This album is amazing!!! Robert smith's voice of coarse is awesome!!!(point #1) and the songs are just unimaginable!!! Ok this was the first cure album i purchased. And is atill the only one i have.(probably getting new self-titled album for christmas) Anyways it did take a few listens for me to fall in love with this, but after that i got/get goosebumps everytime i listen to this album!!! My favorite songs are "friday im in love", "mint car", "wrong number", "hot hot hot", "pictures of you", and "high". But i basically listen to the whole album. I fyou have bought any cure cds yet i recomend this or their "greatest hits" album!!! The songs are just brilliant not to mention beautiful. Well ill stop drooling over this album and let you make your decision. Anways as for my advice, GET OUT THERE AND BUY "GALORE"!!!!!!!!!!1The more comprehensive best of Cure album! I still think that Galore is a better comprehensive album of the Cure's best songs than the Greatest Hits album from 2001. It smartly has Lullaby, Fascination Street, Lovesong and Pieces of You back-to-back in such a funky kind of way. That one new song they recorded, Wrong Number, is full of energy for its 5:59. It has such a unique dance-techno sound all throughout. Also songs like Why Can't I Be You, Friday I'm Love, 13th and others are unique musical treats. The Cure was able to place their dark themes over a very accessible rock sound without coming off depressing as one may think. They smartly placed these 18 songs in an over 70-75 minute mix. |
