love metal... i hear the love but were's the metal?when i asked a friend what kind of music she liked she anwered: i like metal bands like him, atreyu, and cky but you probobly couldnt handle them. im like wow! really? those bands must be pretty intense then huh? i waited so long to hear something i could bang my head to but insteaded i immediatly ended up falling asleep.
which brings me to the reason for disliking this album which is because it is not even the least bit metal, as in nothing to do with the genre at all. how dare anybody claim that HIMs music is at all related to metal, that statement is an insult to every real metal band that has ever existed and an even greater insult to the fans of those bands.
i will though admit that HIM created some pretty interesting and unique sounding music. i recomend this Greatest Love Songs 666 for those who enjoy soft rock with pretty good singing. but please dont obsess over this band its really nothing special, go out and expose yourself to other musics. if you want something dark listen and support bands like: tiamet, moonspell, type o negative, paradise lost, or even nightwish for an even greater listen.O STARS/UTTER GARBAGEHIM most have been smoking crack when they recorded this!

For You-This song is just bizarre to me. Vocals are trash. The BEST!this is the best cd ever!i like the deep voice in the song "Its All Tears!"it sounds cool.the lyrics are strong,the singers voice is beautiful,and the guitar is the best!buy this cd i gurantee u will like it! |
