ONE OF MY FAVORITESThis is one of my Top 5 desert island CDs. It's a great listen with fun lyrics and top musicianship. It's difficult to put thi music into a traditional genre, but if you are a music enthusiast across a number of types of music like myself you will be sure to enjoy this CD. HIGHLY recommended. Another Danny Barnes favorite is "Dirt on the Angel." Have Fun!Danny Barnes is a Lyrical & Musical Genius!I bought this CD for my husband and was a bit skeptical about it. After listening to it I fell entranced! This CD is one of the most poignant musical collections I've ever heard. Barnes' lyrics and his ability to play nearly every instrument on the album is phenomenal - to say the least. Whether you are a rock, soul, jazz, punk, or country fan - this CD is a MUST HAVE!Nobody Plays More EnthusiasticallyDanny Barnes is one of the greatest string players and singers you can see live. The smile that's on his (and, infectiously, the rest of the band and most of the audience) comes from an obvious immense pleasure from just playing. I've heard it said that Danny Barnes is the best banjo player in the country and I believe it's true. Hard to classify, not traditional bluegrass though with obvious bluegrass and even punk influences. CD is excellent, just like all the Bad Livers CDs are.
