TFK ARE AMAZING!! woooooWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THis album is an amazing album. I only got their album a few months ago, as I heard their song "Phenomenon" on Launch. I thought it was amazing, and I still do! THis has to be one of the best albums I own!!! I mean it, if you're looking for a new album to buy, or a new band to listen to, it should be Thousand Foot Krutch!!! :-) Their music is different and interesting, and I think appeals to people who like different kinds of music, e.g. I like emo/punk/alternative rock/metal and I find this album great to listen to!! I don't think TFK are a very well known band, I know they're more known in America, which would figure, seen as they're an american band. I just want to say that this band ROCKS. It really does, if you don't believe me, click on a sample track, preferably Phenomenon, Step to me, Last Words, Rawkfist, I climb or New Design. THese are truly amazing songs, and Thousand Foot Krutch are an amazing band!!!!!!!!! Listen to their album!! To go on some more, it shows in the reviews that people like them as both this album and their previous album got really good average customer reviews. Obviously this album will not appeal to everyone, and this is just my personal opinion, but I would strongly recommend you listen to this album, it really is worth listening to. Also, what is the point in people moaning about the fact that this band are with a christian record company, big deal. Some people should just grow up. ANyway, enough said.
Its good, but lacks in the long run.Ok first i saw these guys at Icthus and they rocked. Awsome live show band. Now this CD is good for alot of reasons. Hard Hitting, Deep Meanings, and Catchy as crap. But for every good reason to buy this CD, there is a bad reason. One of them being its good for a while, but gets old. I bought it in January and its now June and im tired of it. I bought this for the fact of RAWKFIST. Yes the song you been hearin in videogames and on commercials is Rawkfist. At first it was fun and a lively party song. now... old and annoying. I wish i could go to them when they recorded this CD and tell them what to do. Now for the reason i think its played out. While the drums are good, the other parts of the bad are kinda annoying to me. Guitar and Bass follow each other too much and and vocals are childesh at best. Vocals are flowing every where sometimes jumping notes in the middle of verses. Sounds like an adolecent trying to prove something. Also the songs are alike, if you took the vocals from one song and put it in another tune it would sound the same. The CD is good for some things, but falls short in the long run and will either make you want something more or try something completly different. I do recomend buying though just, be sure to share it with your friends and family when your done. Awesome Christian RockTFK is a band with some serious talent. They're uplifting and fun to listen to. Some people may not like Christian rock, but in most of the songs the message is subtle and you really don't notice it. But in songs like "This Is A Call" the message is obvious. But they don't get preachy and I like that in a band. Now, onto the ratings. Phenomenon- A good song with cool bass line in the beginning. 10/10 Step To Me- Nice song with nice vocals. An all around pretty good song. 9.5/10 Last Words- Pretty cool song. 9.5/10 This Is A Call- Kind of preachy, but still good. 9/10 Rawkfist- Kick butt! One of my favorite songs. 10/10 Faith, Love and Happiness- Great song with nice guitar. 10/10 I Climb- Fun song to hum to. Pretty good. 9.5/10 Quicken- I like this song. Just fun to listen to. 10/10 New Design- Once again, fun to listen to. 10/10 Bounce- A fun song to listen to but the rapping could use a little work. 9.5/10 Ordinary- Again, a fun song to listen to. 10/10 Break The Silence- A good finish to wrap up the CD. 9.75/10 In conclusion, this CD has a lot of potential from TFK. They are one of my favorite bands now. I can't wait for "The Art Of Breaking" that's coming out this July. See ya! |
