Sea of Faces is a positive music alternative for kids.Kutless'new album, Sea of Faces, is a positive, edgy, and hard album that will attract the attention of kids who love Mainstream Rock. This band is indeed an Alternative Christian Band, but sound very similar to Nickelback, Finch, and P.O.D, which are all good bands, but the only difference is, the lyrics are positive.

1. All Alone- This song is very deep, and passionate. This is one of thier softer songs, but it is very passionate. This song expresses positivity towards hurting and confused people.
2. All The Words- This song is a soft worship song to God, it is very mellow, but catchy, none the less.
3. Better For You- This is a more fast pased rock song, it expresses the universal need for a savior.
4. It's Like Me- This song sounds very much like Better For You, this song expresses how we need to talk more about God's love.
5. Let You In- Hard Rock fans will love this song, there is no such thing as slow in this song, it has some roaring and even a rap verse. This song expresses need for Jesus.
6. Not What You See- This song is also a good hard rock song, it expresses maintaining good relationships while serving God.
7. Passion- This is another good one for rock lovers, this expresses Jesus' love for us.
8. Perspectives- This song is another mealow one, but it is still very passionate towards people who are hurting.
9. Sea of Faces- Hard Rock fans will probably not like this one, but this song shows what Kutless is all about. I bought the CD mainly because of this song, it is very powerful, and gives the whole message of the gospel.
10. Treason- This is probably the best song for hard rock lovers, it is very fast and up-beat. It expresses how awful sin can be.
11. Troubled heart- This one has a bizzare intro, and the guitars are kind of mellowed out, but the lyrics are very moving.
CCM fans should get this album because, I feel that this CD is the best that Christian Rock has to offer today, as for mainstream rock fans, you should realy give these guys a shot. If you are not a christian, get the CD anyway, because the music is wonderful.
I love this cdKutless has done a really good job on this cd. I love almost every track on it. I'll admit it's not as hard or as grungy as their debut, but it's still an amazingly good cd. The hardest songs are probably Not What You See, Let You In, and Treason, which are all really awesome songs. Other songs are rocky too but have a melodic sound to them. But please don't think that the cd is all slow like the song Sea of Faces. That's what I expected when I got the cd because everyone was like, "This cd is so slow!" But I was very surprised at how good and not slow it was when I got it. So get this cd right now!I'm 39, and this is my new favorite group!This is a great band with 2 amazing albums. If you like energetic, driving music with great heavy guitars and powerful lyrics, you should give this group a listen. I can honestly say that there isn't a single weak song on this CD, and you'll find yourself constantly replacing everything else in your CD player... wanting to hear Kutless instead. |
