Say "yes", to And Love said NO...It bugs me when people get on here and review albums that they obviously haven't listeded to. This is a wonderful album, which I just adore. HIM has the abitity to develop songs that reflect universal feelings of love and pain. The emotional tone of the music actually matches the emotions of the lyrics. As I listen to the album, it is rich with imagry. and FYI- for the fake reviewers- I'm 33, and don't shop at hot topic or buy into the crap of Mtv. This music isn't contrived for the purpose of "being popular", these people are artists and you have obviously missed the point of their music with your narrowmindedness. These aren't sappy love songs, they rock! Ville Valo does it over and overSometimes there's musicians that can write a really catchy song, and there's some musicians that can write a really deep/romantic sounding song....and then there's Valo who can do both, and do them enough to fill entire albums. He's probably the most brilliant song writer I've ever heard. Pure genius, anyone who rates this album below 5 stars has to ask them selves if they really know music the way they think they do.My Toilet Seat & HIM's Greatest HitsAlright...certain people have a soundtrack for almost anything. For instance, they have a special soundtrack for some love makin' (if you know what i mean, eh eh eh) and so forth. Personally I have one as well-but for my bathroom. And what is it...this collection of HIM's "Greatest Hits" Why you HIM worshiping, trendy, little suburban pre-pubesant, "i'm soooo depressed (cut, cut)" Hot Topic slaves man ask? Simple! Because this stuff makes me want to defecate. Right when he reaches does irritaing high pitches, they compress my bowels together and result in a violent fecial discharge. Argh! The only depressing thing about this band is the waste of music published, cds fabricated, and shelves this crap takes up at record stores! |
